The Garden

In 2021 my eyes opened to see the gardens of friends. It was COVID, we noticed different things, took walks. It turned out, various female friends and artists either had a garden or were even gardeners. I realized my previous ignorance to the neglected garden in my studio building and tore away at the overgrown ivy and stinging nettles and hundreds of brick tiles beneath the sand. This year marks the end of our lease and it has been a pleasure to craft a garden which has never done what I expected but the anticipation has always given such pleasure.
