Natascha Libbert (1973) lives and works in Amsterdam, Holland. After working for several years as an account manager at ad agency (FHV/BBDO), she decided to become a part-time flight attendant in order to go back to school and did this from 2002-2012. She studied photography at the Royal Academy of Arts (KABK) and graduated there in June 2009. In 2014, having worked at several communications departments at KLM, she became a fulltime freelance photographer after all.

I combine my work between research based or site specific personal projects, and assignment work. Sometimes one leads to another.

In 2016 I worked on a commission for the Province of Northern Holland about the sea locks (sluizen) at IJmuiden. This resulted in a personal navigation through the landscape of shipping which is continuously changing. In the fall of 2017, I will publish a book about this subject.

Previous commissions are for the ING Art Collection and the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands (Rijksdienst voor Cultureel Erfgoed).

A selection of the companies that I work for regularly on assignment are Airfrance KLM, Airfrance KLM Martinair Cargo, design agency Beautiful Minds, Ontwikkelingsbedrijf NHN.
