Natascha Libbert (1973) lives and works in Amsterdam, Holland. After working for several years as an account manager at ad agency (FHV/BBDO), she decided to become a part-time flight attendant in order to go back to school and did this from 2002-2012. She studied photography at the Royal Academy of Arts (KABK) and graduated there in June 2009. In 2014, having worked at several communications departments at KLM, she became a fulltime freelance photographer after all.
Now: I look for a way to combine my personal work and interests, with my assignments. I believe any world can tell a story.
Commissions: In 2016 I worked on a commission for the Province of Northern Holland about the sea locks (sluizen) at IJmuiden. This resulted in a personal navigation through the landscape of shipping. In 2018, I will publish a book about this subject.
Previous commissions are for the ING Art Collection, the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands (Rijksdienst voor Cultureel Erfgoed), Marie-Stella Maris.
A selection of the companies I work for Airfrance KLM, KLM Nederland, Airfrance KLM Martinair Cargo, design agency Beautiful Minds, Ontwikkelingsbedrijf NHN, Rhenus, Kuehne + Nagel, Loodswezen, Holland Herald, Flying Dutchman, Phenster, MBO College Airport, Transavia, SkyTeam Alliance, KLM Cityhopper, TEFAF, PAN Amsterdam.
I provide installation shots, reportage and portraits for image banks, websites, magazines, press releases etc. in The Netherlands and abroad.
Frequently overlooked but absolutely necessary is the work after the shoot. The edit and post-production I do, finalizes images. If the assignment calls for more post production, I work together with a specialist.
If you have any questions about my work, methods or availability, please don't hesitate to contact me or refer to CV/Publications.
