Natascha Libbert (1973) lives and works in Amsterdam, Holland. After working for several years as an account manager at ad agency (FHV/BBDO), she decided to become a part-time flight attendant in order to go back to school and did this from 2002-2012. She studied photography at the Royal Academy of Arts (KABK) and graduated there in June 2009. Since 2014 she works full time as a visual artist and freelance photographer. She combines work in commission with her own projects.

Commissions: In 2016 I worked on a commission for the Province of Northern Holland about the sea locks (sluizen) at IJmuiden. This resulted in a personal navigation through the landscape of shipping. In 2018, I published a book about this subject 'I went looking for a ship'.

Previous commissions are for the ING Art Collection, the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands (Rijksdienst voor Cultureel Erfgoed), Marie-Stella Maris.
